During my childhood, I had the privilege of helping care for my five younger siblings. This experience helped me understand how much I enjoyed working with young children. For the past eight years, I have been a dedicated member of Faith Journey Church/Oregon Trail and have been proud to serve on the worship team. I find working with children to be incredibly fulfilling. Being able to watch them learn new things and make connections on their own is incredibly rewarding. There is nothing quite like seeing the excitement in their eyes when they understand something for the first time.
I also find children to be absolutely hilarious. They have an exceptional sense of humor that can brighten anyone’s day. Their boundless energy and creativity are refreshing and inspiring. Being around young children can be a great reminder to appreciate the simple joys in life.
Teaching the 2-year-old class is particularly special to me. It’s a privilege to create a unique bond with each child and to be a part of their early educational journey. Seeing them develop and grow is an incredible experience, and I am grateful for the opportunity to play a small part in their lives.
